At Le Contour Aesthetic Surgery, Dr. Gonzalez suggests submuscular implant placement, where the implant is beneath the chest muscle. This placement has a lower risk of developing complications like capsular contracture.
Once your breast augmentation with breast lift surgery is complete, you will be taken to a private recovery space to be monitored before release. A compression bra fitted to your breasts will be used to minimize swelling and provide support.
Dr. Gonzalez will explain instructions for at-home care to help with a safe recovery process. Patients can continue normal activities within a few days; however, Dr. Gonzalez will advise when it is safe to return to exercise and other physically demanding activities.
