Traditional Liposuction
This most basic option involves using general anesthesia and a cannula attached to a powerful vacuum device. The cannula is moved back and forth to break up fat which is then suctioned out of the area.
Tumescent Liposuction
Also referred to as “local liposuction,” this method uses a local anesthetic to prevent discomfort with a saline solution that makes the fat easier to suction. This technique can remove three to five liters of fat and involves a shorter recovery time than traditional lipo.
Laser Liposuction
Using laser technology to break up the fat makes removal easier. This technique also stimulates collagen and elastin production, which helps tighten the skin around the treated areas.
High-Definition Liposuction
This advanced liposuction technique takes the procedure to another level. While traditional liposuction can effectively reduce the fat volume in various body areas, hi-def lipo provides a more detailed sculpting capability.
Dr. Gonzalez can customize this approach for women and men to deliver the appearance of both feminine and masculine muscle definition in the abs, arms, buttocks, thighs, and back. High-definition lipo often uses VASER® liposuction techniques, which offer ultrasound technology to liquefy fat and skin tightening features to improve laxity. General anesthesia is typically used for this procedure.

Lipo 360
Lipo 360, also called 360 lipo or circumferential liposuction, targets the entire midsection of the body for 360-degree sculpting. This includes the abdomen, flanks, hips, and back for a dramatic transformation.
Lipo 360 is an excellent option for combining with other procedures, such as fat transfer to the face or breasts, or a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
